Purchase District Breast Cancer Awareness and Action
It’s your body, your life. Don’t leave it up to chance.
Our mission is to educate and empower women in the Purchase District to take action when it comes to their health. Did you know that breast cancer is the second leading cancer killer of women in the United States, next to lung cancer? That’s right 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer at some point in their life. We all have a mother, sister, cousin, aunt, friend that has been diagnosed. Because it’s severity we want to encourage women to be proactive.
Have you got yours?
Thanks to screening, breast cancer is often found early, when the chance of successful treatment is best. Many women are cured of the disease when it is found in early stages. Don’t just take action during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, take action year round. Encourage women over forty and women with a history to get a mammogram EVERY year.
If you are ready to take action when it comes to your breast health, visit one of our facilities. We will make sure you get the screening you need.
